Well this is refreshing from what I've seen so far. An honest to god more from you can expect from Mario kinda campaign rather than the aberrations I've seen formed over the years. (That doesn't mean I don't like weird mods, I'll wander into crazytown anyday)
But it DOES mean I can safely recommend it to you. Right along with Return to Dinosaur Land. From what I can see most of the newness is boss changes and stuff derived from Mario Maker/2
I recommend a sandwich, a boxed fruit drink and a few ounces of apple sauce to go with this one.
