Interesting #NetBSD/#FreeBSD difference:
They both have the hotkeys for switching KVTs that SCO Multiscreen had, but only FreeBSD remembers that Control+PrtScrn cycled through the screens on SCO Multiscreen.
SCO UNIX 🐧 emerged as the heir to Santa Cruz Operation's adaptation of Microsoft Xenix, 🚀 blending UNIX System V Release 3.2 with Xenix's device drivers and utilities. 🛠️ Released in 1989, SCO UNIX System V/386 Release 3.2.0 marked the commercial evolution from SCO Xenix.

Imagine what we wouldn't have without that kernel. #scounix #xenix
My first Unix like os was the SGI one not even sure what it was called now.
That's a painful lesson.
The annoying thing is that for years it used to be the case that these things weren't multiple personality. If you wanted to *halt*, the command was haltsys(ADM).
Now, poweroff/halt/haltsys/reboot/&al. all have options where they can pretend to be each other. systemd is the main culprit for this. upstart and other toolsets didn't go quite as far as systemd's tools do. I did for compatibility, but I've never liked it.
Today's random tidbit:
SCO Unix had a divvy(1) command, that literally divvied-up disc volumes into root, swap, badblocks, and whatnot.
