Big Red Barn at Cross Village

Near the northern tip of Michigan's Lower Peninsula in Emmet County is a small town by the name of Cross Village. Cross Village completes then northern end of the Tunnel of Trees on M119.
I found this old barn about a mile outside of Cross Village. The classic lines and deep red really drew me to it.

Barn in Bliss Township

Had the chance to visit my old stomping grounds lately. Northern Michigan is a mix of small towns, expansive beaches, wooded countryside, and many old farms.
This little barn was found between Cross Village and the small town of Levering.

Horton Bay General Store II

The Horton Bay General Store is located in Northern Michigan and is located on the Boyne City/Charlevoix Road in the village of Horton Bay. The village is so small that most people might not even know that they are in a village as the population of Horton Bay is a big 38 living souls.
