Big Red Barn at Cross Village

Near the northern tip of Michigan's Lower Peninsula in Emmet County is a small town by the name of Cross Village. Cross Village completes then northern end of the Tunnel of Trees on M119.
I found this old barn about a mile outside of Cross Village. The classic lines and deep red really drew me to it.

Legs Inn of Cross Village

Legs in brings back many memories for me. Almost all of them from an age of youth. I turned legal back in 1977 and Legs Inn at that time was a great place to spend a Friday evening drinking, and dancing with friends.
One of the great things about going out to Legs Inn was the journey through the tunnel of trees along Lake Michigan on M119.

Legs Inn - Up North

Growing up in Northern Michigan, Legs In was a pretty big part of my life back in my late teens. It continues to be a must visit every time I'm "Up North".
And of course Legs Inn should always draw you in. Their wonderful rustic, rural atmosphere is just what one wants after traveling up the beautiful Tunnel Of Trees, otherwise known as Michigan M-119.
