@apolaine After enjoying the powerful communal experiences we created in the #RoamReseach book clubs and in the online creative sessions I hosted at work during COVID, I've been cooking an idea for a virtual writers' group that could transcend the limits of where we are.

Hmmm...you've got me thinking more about that, now.

Zoals het een echte midlifer betaamt moet je wel iets áánschaffen als je een wending aan je leven geeft. Ik bouw dit jaar aan mijn #zettelkasten. Een gelinkte verzameling highlights uit boeken en gedachten in een eigen ordening. Op papier. De afgelopen twee jaar heb ik met #RoamReseach gewerkt en leverde een opslag van notities op die toch niet genoeg oplevert. De analoge variant is meer werk maar met een veel grotere meerwaarde… is de belofte. Verheug me!

@markmcelroy @msauter I left #RoamReseach nearly 2 years ago for #ObsidianMD (with a short pit stop at #Amplenote in between) because I was horrified by the company’s approach to trust and privacy.

@markmcelroy @gudrun_g yeah after moving from #RoamReseach to #AmpleNote and then #Obsidian 1.5 years ago I’ll likely stay with local first. It’s so liberating to be able to decide for myself what’s on a server somewhere rather than decide what I save locally.

@michaelaye I don’t think #Logseq is simpler than #RoamReseach – but its developers pay more attention to the details.
