A tranquil stretch of the #RiverWitham winds through the heart of Lincoln, flanked by a scenic canal walk lined with historic architecture and modern buildings. Red-brick facades and timber-framed details reflect the city’s heritage, contrasting with contemporary structures like Wilko overlooking the water. The bustling #Cityscape invites visitors to stroll along the #CanalWalk, where locals and tourists alike enjoy the #ScenicView of the waterway and the nearby pedestrian bridges. In the distance, the elegant metal arch of the High Bridge area adds a touch of modern character to Lincoln’s storied riverside.

Been planning a walk from the Humber Bridge to the Severn Bridge next summer. 250 miles. Along #River #Embankments on the #Humber #RiverTrent #RiverWitham #RiverAvon and #RiverSevern. And through the #LincolnshireWolds #LeicestershireWolds and #Cotswolds. #Midland counties are the most varied and most beautiful in #England. All part of a new #Research project.
