LCR-T4-Plus v2: m-firmware flashen, Display-Tuning und die 8-MHz-Quartz-Falle

Vom ersten T4-Plus lebt nur noch der MCU, das Display ist tot. Ein zweites Exemplar zum Vergleich, gleiche PCB-Bezeichnung, aber ein 8-MHz-Quartz statt 16 MHz. Wie ich Display, Power-Latch und Self-Adjustment mit der quelloffenen m-firmware in den Griff bekommen habe.

Den Vatertag genutzt um endlich die Ladeplatine des Tablets zu tauschen. Leider war der Akku tiefentladen und ich mußte ihm ein wenig helfen.
10 Minuten lang die Messspitzen halten ist auch härter als man denkt. Aber es bootet wieder, mal schauen ob es auch wieder ordentlich hochkommt, wenn die Spannung niedrig wird.

The battery of my iPhone 13 mini needs replacement (after 3.5 years), and Apple recently started to officially support self-repair, selling genuine battery, tools, screws, etc.

Except the replacement at an authorized dealer, including labor and parts costs slightly less than only the genuine battery for self-repair :D (~100 EUR vs 110 EUR in Hungary).

(There is a ~50 EUR refund when the replaced part is sent back, so I might still attempt a repair.)
