#StatusUpdate I appear to have acquired a #CalfStrain whilst using the elliptical machine at the gym. It initially felt like a muscle cramp but has not improved. So no #RideToWork for me for a little while. :( I can still ride in the EV though.

Ride To Work
I have completed 398km on my pushy in one month, since I started #rideToWork in October. According to lovetoride.net that equates to a CO2 emissions reduction of 60kg.
By way of a comparison, a one way flight from Sydney to London would produce well over 1700kg of CO2 emissions. At my current rate I would need to ride my pushy to work for 6 years at the current rate (once or twice a week) to offset a single return flight to London.
I’m feeling less inclined to air travel.

A fun #ridetowork day today #cycling in for a meeting via the Bicycle Network meetup in Brunswick. Thanks to Bicycle Network for a banana, Good Cycles for a derailleur tuneup and the hundreds of other bikes on the Upfield Bike Path for somehow not running me into a wall.
All set for the ride to work tomorrow. I had to modify the pannier, carpentry-style. #RideToWork
