On Saturday I thought I would go to Haworth 40s weekend. However when I got there early morning it was already busy and when 5 coaches pulled up I knew it was time to get out and find somewhere quiet. . It was a sunny bright day and I passed thisbscene. Really couldn't miss the incredible pinks of the rhododendron in this churchyard. It's bloody cold out there today! Seems like the first time all winter we (LI, NY) have gotten serious winter weather. My giant rhododendron leaves are all curled up and weeping because it's too cold for it to deal with. THAT is when I know it's actually cold out there. :( That poor rhodie is going to die, I think. Though I have been told that the mystery die-off will come back later in a healthy way. I'm going to miss the rhodie when I have to move. #rhodedendron
