This shit is STILL not fixed in the North (I haven't lived on a #rez since 2004). Clean water = basic human right. Our northern indigenous communities are out of sight, out of mind, and the gov't likes it that way. They don't want you to see the 3rd world conditions which they foster & create. /5

The lack of clean water (et al) had a direct correlation to youth #suicide in the area. This particular #rez had one of the highest suicide rates in the world in the early 2000's. The week I was slated to land, there were EIGHT youth deaths, in a population of less than 2000 people. /4
