I am not by nature prone to paranoia (you will have to trust me on this), but I -am- a #pessimist. Thanks to the current aroma from the #RepublicanAdministration though, #myDay quickly moved to anger.
In my P. O box today was a (poorly copied) form asking me to provide 2 forms of identification, my phone number, and email address. I have had that box more than 20 years.
The poor guy at the desk responded to my rant politely. "Sorry, Mike. I had to do an audit of our records and over 400 box holders did not provide the required identification when they first rented their box."
Why did you do an audit?
"Well, the #Patriot Act requires we know who actually uses the box."

So the first audit since 2002 just happens to be done in Week Three of the #NewEra. I will apologize to him tomorrow, but #today I am angry, suspicious, and paranoid.
