I want the same #gaming #performance as #CachyOS but I stay on #Arch. CachyOS is basically Arch with preconfigured tweaks. I build the same setup myself, so I know what every single #screw does and why it is there. No #ballast I do not understand, full #control. If something breaks, I know exactly where to look.

My #plan:

1. #CachyOS #repo and #BORE #kernel
2. #sysctl tweaks
3. #udev #scheduler rules
4. #amdpstate, preferred core
5. split lock off
6. #ananicy
7. #gamemode
8. #GEProton
9. #mesagit
10. #RADV transfer queue
11. #GPU performance level
12. #EXPO in the #BIOS

Funny detail: the #CachyOS #wiki itself has a #guide for Arch users who do not want to switch but want full control.

I've decided to move my code from #Github over to #codeberg

I will leave them up as archives on Github, but from now on the active #Repo will be CodeBerg

Teach AI to Follow Open Source Repo Rules with ai-ready | John Papa posted on the topic | LinkedIn

AI agents are hammering open source repos with pull requests. Most of them are bad. Wrong patterns. Missing tests. No changelog. Style violations. They "pass CI" but create hours of review work. The problem isn't the agents. It's that our repos don't teach the rules clearly enough for machines to follow.   Humans have the same problem — but they can read between the lines. AI can't.   I built ai-ready — a Copilot CLI skill that makes your repo self-documenting for every contributor, human or AI. It mines your actual PR review comments for conventions, then generates:    🤖 AGENTS.md + copilot-instructions.md  🔧 CI workflows + issue/PR templates  📖 A maintenance matrix: "when X changes, also update Y"   That matrix is the key. It means no PR — from anyone — can change your API without updating the tests, docs, and changelog. Every PR to your repo gets better. AI-generated ones go from "close immediately" to "minor tweaks."    1. Install (one-time):    copilot plugin install johnpapa/ai-ready  2. Use it (start Copilot, then say):    copilot    > make this repo ai-ready Check out the (cropped) sample report you get too (below)! Open source. MIT.
