Whenever I first hear the call of a Red-breasted Nuthatch, I smile in recognition, and then ten minutes later I'm begging it to please for the love of all that is good and righteous to shut up. Maybe it's a strategy to get all the food by driving all the other birds away in search of ibuprofen.

The smallest birbs! Bushtits, Hummingbirds, Red-breasted Nuthatch and Golden-crowned Kinglets! Some of the more challenging subjects from last year, these little ones gave me quite the workout and crash course in photography and I'm so proud of how some of these turned out!
