Real experience versus fantasy
We went to the Drents Museum this morning. They currently have an exhibition of figurative art which is really quite amazing to see.
I'm not going to try to reproduce the artworks here. I'm also certainly not trying to encourage people to make long polluting journeys to visit our local museum. But I do encourage you to visit any museum or gallery which is local to you. It'll be an opportunity to look at awe-inspiring art, which people have put years into creating. It's an enormous pleasure to do this, especially when we find ourselves viewing an ever increasing amount of "AI" slop on the screens of smartphones, TVs, and increasingly even on billboards on our streets.
