Pride Month 2026 in the Triangle: Your Guide to Raleigh, Durham and Surrounding Area LGBTQ+ Events

June is Pride Month, and communities across Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Fuquay-Varina, and the Triangle are celebrating with festivals, markets, performances, wellness events, and community gatherings that honor and support the LGBTQ+ community.

Whether you’re looking for family-friendly festivals, nightlife events, community discussions, or opportunities to support local LGBTQ+ organizations, there are plenty of ways to celebrate Pride throughout the month.

Out! Raleigh Pride Returns to Downtown Raleigh

The Triangle’s largest Pride celebration, Out! Raleigh Pride, returns to Fayetteville Street in Downtown Raleigh on June 26-27, 2026. Organized by the LGBT Center of Raleigh, the two-day event features live entertainment, local vendors, artists, food trucks, community organizations, a KidsZone, and a beer garden. Admission is free. (Visit Raleigh)

New for 2026, Friday night will feature an adults-only (18+) Pride celebration with entertainment and vendors from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., while Saturday’s festival runs from noon until 7 p.m. and welcomes attendees of all ages. (Thriving in Raleigh)

Raleigh Pride Fest at Raleigh Iron Works

Kick off Pride Month on June 6 at Raleigh Pride Fest at Raleigh Iron Works. The event features drag performances, a live DJ, LGBTQ+ vendors, community organizations, and a welcoming atmosphere celebrating diversity and inclusion. The event runs from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and is free to attend. (Raleigh Iron Works)

Pride Flow in Moore Square

Celebrate Pride Month through wellness and community at Pride Flow in Moore Square on June 21. Hosted by Current Wellness, this special yoga session welcomes LGBTQ+ community members and allies. Proceeds support the LGBT Center of Raleigh, and participants can enjoy mocktails and community connection after class.

Pride-Themed Events Throughout June

Several local organizations are hosting Pride-themed celebrations throughout June, including:

Durham Celebrates LGBTQ+ History

Durham is also recognizing Pride Month with educational and cultural programming. Community organizations are also highlighting the legacy of Durham LGBTQ+ leaders and advocates, including the work of the Pauli Murray Center and local LGBTQ+ activists who helped shape the region’s history. (Reddit)

Celebrate Pride Across the Triangle

Pride Month is about visibility, inclusion, community, and celebration. Throughout June, residents and visitors can find opportunities to support LGBTQ+-owned businesses, attend community events, learn local LGBTQ+ history, and celebrate the diversity that makes the Triangle a welcoming place for all.
