I just love this bridge! And after having to wear wellies to take out the compost because it’s been chucking it for days and I got drookit going home from work, it’s nice to remember that there can be nice days in Scotland. Coincidentally I learned tonight that there are over 100 words for rain in Scots… no kidding!

It's been raining the whole day; the kind of rain that's as irritating & persistent as a Tory minister caught sexually harassing a young staff member.

Anyway, the cat's been mostly inside, and blames me for all this. For now he's given up on glaring at me, and he's gone for the sad & wounded approach.
It's kind of flattering he thinks of me as some kind of (highly inept) Rain God, but no, sorry cat; and it's not going to stop raining till tomorrow morning either.
