Radio Free Alice is a band that fully embraces the upbeat pop sound of the original post-punk era, reaching back to the early '80s. There are plenty of influences that run through their music, including fellow Australians The Go-Betweens, as well as regular call-backs to acts like The Smiths and New Order. They fully embrace these threads, while also pulling their own weight and constructing a distinctive style. Their songs are quite melodic, filled with an earwormy quality and a lively, upbeat tempo that can be hard to resist. Vocalist Noah Learmonth has an endearing quiver in his voice that adds a level of angst to the songs that takes the sweet edge off just enough to make them well-balanced.

Der Song wurde unterwegs geschrieben und basiert auf einer Bassline, zu der sich dann kurze Gitarrenriffs und melancholische Vocals gesellen.
