Did you know there is a Rapid Deployment Amateur Radio (RaDAR) rally this weekend. 4 hours; 5 contacts in a location, move a distance depending on the rules, 5 contacts then move, repeat. CW, SSB, FT8, whatever you want. On foot, on a bike, scooter, car etc.
Sounds fun eh, I'll be out on Saturday afternoon.

There's to be another #RaDARRally on the 11th May. It's a chance to get out of the shack and practise rapid deployment, and re-deployment of your station over a 4 hour period. A good sized #ParksOnTheAir site will work well.

What a blast! Did a combined #POTA rove & RaDAR rally. Made 58 contacts from 8 locations in 5 Alaska parks over 4 hrs. Lots of DX: Finland, Belgium, France, Italy, Germany, Slovenia & Japan. CW with a little SSB. #parksontheair #potacorgi #RaDARRally http://www.radarrally.info/
