We reached out to our county representatives on the Central Virginia Transportation Authority to ask them to put more funding into alternative transit options like bike lanes, bus routes, and sidewalks rather than continuing to fund emissions-heavy roads/highways!

The tornado watch has been lifted for western parts of Virginia but continues along and east of I-95; just seeing scattered lines of storms, mostly bisecting D.C. from Maryland to Bowling Green in Virginia, with severe thunderstorm warnings in effect along that line of storms. Quiet further south around #RVA, and no tornado warnings in effect at the moment

The closer I look at this incident the more that I'm convinced reality cuts closer to:

Teens went to the mall for a takeover event.

Some fogie got spooked and called the cops on an inordinate number of teens.

The teens bailed when the fuzz showed up, as you do.

The cops wrote that teens "may have been fighting" in the report.

News write the whole thing as being a big brawl stopped by the honorable sheriffs. Indeed, a big brawl in which no shots were fired and nobody was hurt.
