I really enjoyed the #DataViz talk by @infobeautiful.bsky.social at @rssedinburgh.bsky.social. Not because the content was new. His talks (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Zg-C8AAIGg) and books have made the point that the stories lie in contrasting relevant numbers in visually appealing ways.

Difficulties deciding which #RapidFire session to attend later at #RSS2025. I feel I have had too much social media exposure to posts from @millerdl , session 10 with modelling seals, capercaillies, aphids... looks surprisingly attractive.

Will probably be session 9 on #RStats, though. #SooooConventional
