I'm officially a Member of the #ReligiousSocietyOfFriends AND some of us #LGBTQIA2S plus folk at my #FriendsMeeting got together to start planning a subcommittee for ourselves.

I also learned that I did not invent the term #QuakerQueernessCommittee - alas. I was really proud of coming up with that.

Have any of y'all started #LGBTQIA2S + groups at your #church (or other #religious groups)? If so, advice wanted please!

A few of us from my #FriendsMeeting are gonna do lunch after our Meeting on Sunday to discuss starting one, with the blessing of the Clerk.

So far, I have a notebook with some #queries and brainstorming & have reached out to FLGBTQ.org

Whelp, my #FriendsMeeting (like church, kinds, for #Quakers) has enough #LGBTQIA folk interested in my silly #QuakerQueernessCommittee to actually make something happen.

I have no idea what to do with this thing I'm starting.

I'm thinking we get a few people together & reach out to the 'Friends for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer Concerns.'
