Glad I was able to catch the replay of Reshama Shaikh's closing keynote for @PyGotham.
Reshama talked about Python and open source communities: the good parts (motivations of joining and contributing), and the bad (things that cause people to leave). She shared examples of communities that did great work but now no longer operating.
The keynote really makes me think more of how to ensure sustainability and continuance of the communities I belong to (#Python, #PyLadies).
PyGotham is streaming right now. Due to travel and not doing the time zone conversion correctly, I missed watching my own talk π₯
Don't be like me.
You still have another chance to watch the replay of my "PEP Talk" later today: 6:10 PM New York (EDT) / 3:10 PM Vancouver (PDT) / 11:10 PM London (GMT)

I knew @pygotham is awesome, but look at that! They sent me a ton of items so I can deliver my best remote talk ever!
Thanks so much!
Looking forward to presenting my talk "Behind the Scenes of tox: The Journey of Rewriting a Python Tool with Over 10 Million Monthly Downloads" on PyGotham TV!
