The @PyGotham version was especially fun to make! Thanks to the PyGotham TV format, it challenged me to explore different ways to present a talk.
I made it during the period of my funemployment 😓 meaning, I had free time to learn how to do video editing just to produce this video. The final product was less than 15 minutes but I spent days putting it together.

Glad I was able to catch the replay of Reshama Shaikh's closing keynote for @PyGotham.
Reshama talked about Python and open source communities: the good parts (motivations of joining and contributing), and the bad (things that cause people to leave). She shared examples of communities that did great work but now no longer operating.
The keynote really makes me think more of how to ensure sustainability and continuance of the communities I belong to (#Python, #PyLadies).

My first speaking conference was my first conference period. I got encouraged to write a proposal by the folks running #PyGotham and then got in.
There's so many people who I have worked with on various projects and open source work and community building in that list.
For those who haven't done PyGotham, it's definitely the embodiment of the #Python unofficial model of coming for the language and staying for the community.
