When I say "landlords don't provide housing, they hoard it" there's no better case study than this. Under capitalism one could buy a unit and rent it out with

* affordable rent
* good property maintenance
* fast response for repairs/emergencies

but the only thing holding one to this is personal ethics. Structurally, landlords like Sun are closer to the rule. Gobble up as much supply as possible and hope to stay ahead of consequences

南山邨是區內一條比較舊式的公共屋邨，因為大廈的外牆顏色，加上邨內的空間慼，令其成為較多人打卡的屋邨，邨內亦有不少老字號小店及小菜館。

鄰接的大坑西新邨，是香港唯一的私人參建公屋，拍攝時屋邨正準備拆卸，邨內的行人道已封閉。而居於邨內的居民，縱使經歷多輪抗爭，建設屋邨的平民屋宇公司，依然無意體恤居民的需要，使用粗暴的手段甚至法律行動趕走居民。
