There appears to have been a sting in the tail of the decision last year to cap 'right to buy' discounts in #england at £ 16,000 per property. There was a rush of applications to buy before this came in. These when processed will have a discount of more than £ 100,000 per property. In #wandsworth alone this seems likely to amount to £ 20 - 30 million - scale up to #england we talking at least a billion pounds sterling. And in addition the stock of #publichousing will be reduced!

Et tu, The Hill?
I won't link to it, it's horrible fear mongering from the right. And it's on "The Hill"!
Some rich white lawyer's trying to sell his book, and got an Op Ed on The Hill, of all places, to complain that paying construction workers at least $40/ hour "will further discourage investors"...
Ugh.
THERE. IS. NO SUCH THING. AS LIBERAL MEDIA. IN THIS COUNTRY.
