I last saw him at the #SpringHillFair in the late 1970’s. I was selling #ProjectJonah tees & he walked up to look. ‘Hi Mr Deane!” I said. Looking over his sunnies at me he said, “Oh dear! Were you one of mine?” turned & left.
lol. It was meant in fun & so like him. I wasn’t aware of his activities in the #gay community in #Qld until today.
It seems he was quite famous.

Beaches have been checked this morning & so far there is no sign of the pod which first stranded on Saturday afternoon.
The 2nd pod of 11 #whales, who were found yesterday, have restranded & will be cared for today before a refloat attempt this afternoon.
We welcome help for both these steps - please bring appropriate clothing, footware and wetsuits if you have them for the refloat.
The whales are north of #Pakawau.

This is a wonderful original. I was excited to acquire this piece. I have tried to find another example and have not found one out there. Excellent condition. Folds as it was issued but because it remained folded for nearly its entire life, it has been protected.
