Dolphins on the high seas yesterday off Dana Point, CA. Saw a pod of 50 Common Dolphins and a pod of 75 or so Bottlenose Dolphins. They are amazingly fast, powerful, and graceful beings. The Bottlenose surfed the wake of the boat and one jumped high, right near the railing, raining down seawater on us and eliciting a scream from a fellow passenger worthy of a horror movie. #dolphins #danapoint #whalewatch.
