we really need to replace the outer tyre of our bus and really need help with the currency with mutual aid

it has damaged treads (3rd image) and something in it that if it lets go it releases 120psi which can be deadly

it is also ready to throw its treads at some near point in the future and recently has developed a tear on the retreads (1st image)

they need to also be replaced with mud and snow tyres considering in order to stay out of the way as we build out the bus we need to be in the middle of the forest

we found out about this puncture (2nd image) while adding more solar to the bus and when semi truck/bus tyre goes it can be a hazard to everyone

we need atleast to raise 600 usd
800 ideally to replace both dualie tyres as they are the same age and are both retreads

From a partner of mine I'm with on this bus "We tried to get to the store today. Neither the Leaf nor the bus was able to get out of Gordon's Gulch, as the tyres have insufficient grip, the car insufficient ground clearance and the snow chains didn't make enough sense to me for me to be able to properly apply them. Furthermore, when we tried with the Leaf, it ended up low on battery, and when we reversed it back and then tried the bus, the bus ended up sliding at a diagonal angle and nearly hitting a tree. We then very carefully used the snow chains and stones on the ground to boost grip while reversing slowly back towards our campsite. Hitting a sign was a necessary step because it was that or wrecking the bus sideways into a tree on the hillside with it sliding due to the slope. The sign is still standing, just a little bent." 🚨 EMERGENCY SOS: STRANDED AT AIRPORT

I am standing at the rental counter right now. I am shaking and wanting to die. I'm so fucked up right now I just misgendered myself for the first time in 5 years.

I thought I had calculated everything perfectly. I have the reservation. I have the rental cost covered.

But I did not know about the mandatory $250 security deposit hold they charge ON TOP OF (rather than alongside) the rental fee at the moment of pickup.

I am $60 short. They won't give me a refund (that won't force me to wait several more days). They won't even negotiate for a cheaper car.

The system will not release the keys until this hold clears. I cannot leave. I am completely stuck at the airport because I Ubered here, and I will bankrupt myself if I try to go anywhere else.

And the terrifying reality is: even if I scrape together this $60 to get the keys, that leaves me with $0.00 for gas or food for the 15-hour drive to Pittsburgh.

I'm so close to being out. And so close to giving up.

I am asking for immediate, emergency help to bridge this gap so I can get in the car and leave. Please. I am so close.
