Las Vegas has largely moved on from themed resorts to generic glass and steel skyscrapers since I was last there almost 20 years ago, but there is one exception: The Hard Rock Hotel has taken over the former Mirage, and is building a giant guitar-shaped tower in front. I took this photo from across the street, out in front of the Venetian.

I hope they put the elevators on the outside where the strings would be.

To Vegas and Back

Las Vegas is a lot bigger than it was last time I visited (almost 20 years ago). Most of the new resorts are generic glass-and-steel, but Hard Rock is building a giant guitar. (Also: solar towers are *bright!*)

If this was still a cafe I’d totally go there just for the style. I’m glad it was restored instead of demolished!

Yeah, #RandysDonuts in #Inglewood has been done before, but I figured I'd try my hand (lens?) at it.
