In our second episode we talk about COOPERATION AMONG COOPERATIVES, and engage in conversation with NEC member Co-op Dayton, an organization that is using community & worker ownership as a catalyst to transform Dayton’s Black and working class neighborhoods.
The challenge is scaling these niche innovations in a way that disrupts existing regimes, without being co-opted by them and/or compromising core values.

I'm mostly hanging out at social.coop these days, @jeff
Our cooperatively "owned" and managed #Mastodon instance is just one way we interact with each other and the wider #fediverse
We also provide additional services, often by cooperating with other #cooperatives who share our goals and values (practicing cooperative #Principle6).

#coop fact of the day!
#coops often see a decline in member engagement as the number of members grows. It's not inevitable. The opposite can also happen.
More votes were cast in the last
S-Group election than in the local elections of the 2nd biggest city in Finland!
Will be standing in the 2020 S-Group elections, campaigning for more #principle6.
