I hope you all had a nice day. We certainly did. We took an hour hike along the Mississippi. Tonightβs nightcap in Prairie du Chien is a Muddy Mississippi. Itβs almost a mudslide, but not quite. Thatβs okay, it was still really good.

Enjoying lunch at Simply Cafe in downtown Prairie du Chien. We had a great meal here. The coffee is fabulous too. I had a mocha latte. Chef's kiss. Tin ceiling in a historic building. The fan above is is spinning so fast it makes this great illusion with the old time Edison lamps.
