Each year, on Karlsplatz, the Popfest sings out in its subconsciously humming voice, mimicking some kind of contemporary siren call to draw everyone into its arms. From a stage in a lake to a hall with a huge yellow duck welcoming you at first, and into the tech university's belly called Prechtlsaal throughout the night - it is a three day excursion into the music of the generation, with each night blurring into one perpetual movement of draw, dance, drink, repeat.
