Okay so first the good news: he's trapped! The bad news is that the humane society closed 3 hours ago and the earliest I can call them to pick him up (as per their instructions) is 9 am tomorrow. He is freaking out and he will have to stay in here for more than 12 hours, poor baby. 😭

We covered the cage with an old towel, to hopefully calm him a bit (also per instructions) and we'll see if we can find a way to get him some water later.

Man oh man, it's been quite a month for Loki, my little dude. He's had issue after issue related to a super bad UTI that started Aug 10th, and it's getting rough. I don't generally post things like this, but I have started getting to the end of what I can do on my own. The costs for little dudes care are racking up, and I'm at the point of asking for help, any help, even a bit of time in your thoughts. I started a GoFundMe for his care if you want to check out his story and what he's been having to deal with so far. We're hopeful the emergency surgery today is enough to get him back on track; only time over the next few days in the ICU will tell.

my cat,Caruso, just gave me a powerful clue about how skanky my dirty laundry is.

do realize that cats *love* skanky smells. they’ll rub all over a 4 day old dead fish.

he’s been napping in my laundry bin a lot lately, but earlier he sniffed at it and walked away in disgust.
