Got a PolyDryer now. Being who am am, of course I placed a bunch of temperature sensors in it and did a test run first (plus I wanted to know what temperatures the "power levels" mapped to). The results surprise me; I would have expected the hot air to circulate around the spool; instead it seems to take an intentional(?) shortcut at the bottom. Anyone know why it's designed this way?

Purchased a #polymaker #polydryer from #amazon The box was missing the dryer dock. Is this an Amazon problem or a #polymaker issue? This seems like it would be a mfg issue during packaging. Everything looked okay outside and inside of the box. I've started buying from places other than #amazon due to the number of issues that I've had over the last year.

Since I still had the thermal camera out I figured I'd snap a couple shots of the Polymaker PolyDryer in action. It wasn't clear from the manual what the air flow was like inside/outside but this makes it clear. The top rear vent is where it puts out hot air, the other is a return. Plus there are holes on either side that are vents to let moisture out so you don't need to vent the box itself. The holes on the left side seem to put out more air than the right.

Has anyone picked up the Polymaker PolyDryer? Any thoughts so far regarding drying quality, and more importantly, seal quality as a dry box? It’s an interesting concept and I’m very interested.
