So before the eShop went down, I did my best to “future-proof” Pokémon stuff (among other things) as much as possible.

-I got all gen 1 and 2 games for one 3DS, then Yellow and Crystal on another. This was to ensure I could easily trade by myself and complete the Pokédex on all gen 1-2 versions.

-I set up Pokémon Bank for both systems (and yeah, paid for it twice) just in case.

-I downloaded the ORAS and SunMoon demos on both systems.

So I was really hoping I could go at a slow pace and work on these, then send up my mons to Pokémon Home.

But then it was made clear that Pokémon Bank would close sometime in the future.

(And if I were a gambler, I’d put money down on A YEAR OR LESS after Nintendo ends online support for 3DS/Wii U.) So now I feel pressured into playing through these more quickly.

Not cool, Nintendo.

Die Pokémon Company hat auf Basis der News zu den Online-Services des 3DS zwar angekündigt, dass #PokémonBank weiterhin bestehen bleibt, ruft jedoch hier das erste mal deutlich dazu auf, vergangene Pokémon auf #PokémonHOME zu übertragen, da unklar ist, wie lange der Service aktiv bleibt.

Da ärgere ich mich ständig darüber das ich in #PokemonPurpur nur ein 5 DV Ditto habe zum züchten, wo leider meist die KP schlecht sind, weil das der schlechte Wert von Ditto ist.

Heute früh fällt mir ein das ich auf meiner #PokémonX Edition ein perfektes 6 DV Ditto habe, womit das KP Problem gelöst wäre.

Also schnapp ich mir meinen #nintendo3ds und übertrage das 6 DV Ditto über #PokémonBank auf #PokémonHome und anschließend auf meine #PokémonPurpur Edition.

Und euer Sonntag so? 😆

Ich finde es so bizarr, wie schnell wir als Pokémon Community „vergessen“.

Does anyone else still feel a little uncomfortable seeing Pokédex numbers with 4 digits now, after so long being 3?

I know it's because there's over 1000 Pokémon now, and I had been expecting the day to come eventually, but it still feels... jarring somehow.
