Although my original idea was to take my old unfinished #nanowrimo novel and turn it into an adventure game, now that I re-read it almost 8 years after writing it, I actually kinda got hooked and now I'm seriously considering finishing it as a novel instead. Or could be both!
Looking back at the first playable build of my game Death Comes Skiing. The early screenshot is from March 2023, when I had put together a fully playable game in about three months – and now, three years later, it's still a work in progress...
It's taken longer than I hoped it would, but there's been heavy rewrites, animation, sound, music and everything else that's happened since. And at least the graphics have improved a bit!

My wife and I completed Book 2 of Cantaloop, a paper point and click adventure. It was fun, but there is a "hacking segment" that, while also fun, got a little exhausting.
