Autumn
#Parkrun 100th run this morning, back at my home course of #PlymValley.
I've been running sporadically for 10 years to get to 100, but 25 of my Parkruns have been in 2023. Feels like I have really hit my stride and it is finally sticking!
#Parkrun at #PlymValley was rained off today, but I ended up doing it anyway (didn't realise it was off until I got there).
Over a minute slower than last week, which I put down to having rested my knee all week and having nobody to keep up with: that makes such a difference.
Still, my physio has signed off on me running further now, so I'll be fitting in a couple more runs this week.
Back on it!
Excited to try a new #ParkRun this morning; instead of #PlymValley we're trying #TamarTrails for a change of scenery.
Looks like another beautiful place to spend Saturday morning. Just hoping the rain holds off!
I realise these #ParkRun times are nothing special (I used to run #PlymValley in under 25:00), but I'm really pleased with the progress I'm making back to fitness.
33:59 today, and hoping to make it under 30:00 soon.
I bottled it last week, but made it back to #ParkRun #PlymValley today.
