Okay, so, I'm not always a romance reader, but when I DO pick one up, Playing Flirty is exactly the kind I'm looking for! This book was the perfect mix of nerdy fun, tension, and chemistry—I was hooked from the first page. 😍
The slow-burn romance and closed-door/fade-to-black spice kept the focus where I like it: on the relationship building. 🔥 The back-and-forth between the characters? Seriously good. And the nerdy vibes? OMG, a dream come true! Think video games, cosplay, Lord of the Rings…William, the gamer MMC, is officially my new book boyfriend. 💕
The FMC is curvy, smart, and so relatable. Watching her find her footing throughout the story was awesome. Plus, the side characters were great! I also really appreciated the subtle South Asian representation—a nice touch!
This book is more than just a romance; it has some real depth and moments that stuck with me. I read it in one sitting—couldn't put it down! So good. 💖
