I'll never forget the support Darren Watson and I didn't get from the #FreeSpeechUnion when the last National #NZPol Key govt through MoJ Judith Collins and the NZEC banned the song and video #PlanetKey from radio broadcast, online streaming and eventually from sale.

@ClareBear After Darren Watson's and my hearing in the High Court where we challenged the Key govt and NZ Electoral Commission's banning of the song & video #PlanetKey we went for a post court pint at backbenches and ran into the author of the recently released book #DirtyPolitics Meeting Nicky Hager at that moment is still a #NZPol highlight of my life.

Andrew Geddis is probably the most reliable voice on democratic principles and the legalities of #NZPol
I fondly recall him saying the Key government or Electoral Commission didn't have it right when they called the song #PlanetKey and video an advertisement to justify banning it from airplay or purchase when to any observer it was clearly just a song with a video.
ACT's Trojan horse is ready to rock any illusion of National governing a strong stable.

@BigD I remember when Jon Key and NZ National tried to make #NZPol #satire illegal. We managed to challenge their ban and eventually win in High Court but it was 6 months into the Key govt's third term of govt before we got the court ruling which the National Govt also appealed so we had to win a second hearing too. I feel quite depressed at how NZ has been taken over by crooks.
