this is "Toeless Joe", one of the feral #pigeons that frequently visits during feedings. i don't know how he lost his toes. those spikes people put on buildings are frequent culprits

he won't eat out of my hands yet, but i always try to make sure he gets food

this struck me bc it looks like the kind of wings they stick on people in movies & tv to make them into an "angel". although, angel wings are usually portrayed whiter, and angels don't exist. but it's easy to see where the idea came from
