I do too. I still point out his house to my sons every time I drive by it. I had had the pleasure of meeting him right outside his front door in the late 90s when my team and I painted the white "stop" line on the asphalt in front of his residence. The building is still there, having been declared a protected heritage site by the government
#PrimeMinister #JustinTrudeau has confirmed that former federal #Liberal minister #MarcLalonde has died at age 93.
Lalonde was the principal secretary to former prime minister #PierreElliottTrudeau from 1968 to 1972.
Trudeau said in a tweet on Sunday evening that Lalonde “was brilliant” and that his death represents an “enormous loss” to #Canada.
