As I have a #bontrager #trek #WaveCell helmet with a triangle shape magnetic thing at the back.
However I want to mount a #picoaprs and / or vhf aerial there.

DavidThe #PicoAPRS looks much more reasonable withe the smaller antenna.
Today i also managed to send a message over APRS to my Kenwood radio from the PicoAPRS. Beaconing seems to work as well. Next i'll try to get the APRS settings right in my Kenwood and test out the iGate functionality of the PicoAPRS.

The #PicoAPRS is unreal. just got my V4 and i attached the antenna from my GD-77 ot it, now feels very top heavy. Even though it weighs close to nothing.
The screen is also pretty clear, Once the weather is better i'll have to try out the actual APRS functionality. So far i just managed a bit of FM voice.
