Fifth #PhilInBioMed Network Meeting & Workshop “#Philosophical engagement with #biology and #medicine”

This workshop brings together philosophers, biologists and medical scientists with two goals: first, to foster and deepen the engagement of philosophy with biology and medicine by discussing examples of research projects in which philosophy contributes to biology or medicine; and second, to reflect on the PhilInBioMed approach (https://www.philinbiomed.org/) and to develop it further.
Hello #philosophers! I'm a philosopher of biology with academic training in the life sciences (BS), psychology (MS), and philosophy (MA, PhD).
I now swim in the interdisciplinary space between phil & bio.
After a postdoc in an immunology lab at Uni Bordeaux as a philosopher in biomed #philinbiomed, I'm now at Uni Vienna exploring a new way of working through #philosophy of science: by doing and thinkig through phil both in and of #scicomm. #philscicomm #philsci #philbio
