Aoshima beach area with Maron. Some of the best bread (and Chai, and conversation) anywhere at Pan Cafe Ao... Maron likes the yard here too, she could jump and eat worms and grasshoppers here. And she met a nice 14yo Jack Russel Terrier that came with the bread-maker cafe young woman that makes Pan Cafe Ao work so well...

Maybe this weekend wasn't a #Staycation, it was more of a #LocalCation. If LocalCation isn't a word yet maybe it should be a word for when you go spend a good amount of time at a place that seems new or different or unfamiliar but it's within an hour or two or your place, where you usually live and make your living. Ideally we wouldn't need good beer ( #AozraAle #青空エール) and a hotel room for everything to feel new and exciting, but it's hard to be as relaxed at home with chickens demanding attention, not to mention the wash, the dishes, the floors, the bushes, the grass, all sorts of other things that should get done one way or another at one time or another... So it was nice to get out and relax without feeling like we were breaking the Earth or the bank as much as we would be if we did vacations as advertised. And since we didn't waste any time on airports, plans, trains or completely unfamiliar streets we didn't need more than a one-night stay to attain a pleasant bliss. We got to visit some places and people that we really like to visit too. #PerezsKitchen in #MiyazakiCity and #PanCafeAo in #Aoshima . #宮崎市 #青島
