Running KDE Plasma 6.2 with Debian on a 13 year old Lenovo ThinkPad L420, my main PC, and I have absolutely no reason to get another (new) laptop. Everything works fine and runs at a decent speed, no issues, and even that 3 yr old battery still provides a good 2-3 hours life.

So many Windows-using colleagues are complaining about awful performance - with latest high-end hardware.
I just don't get it.
