So, I'm making a replica of a double-neck
#microtonal instrument Angine de Poitrine are using. I've spent unforgivable amount of time basically doing photogrammetry on photos and videos that can be found online, but ended up not copying the shape precisely anyway, even though I could.
Now I've written a terrible
#OpenSCAD script that divides the SVG file into pieces and skeletonizes them to be printed in the next couple of days. This 3d-printed template will be used with a router to cut the body shape out of a block of wood.
I start to slowly realize how long this project can take. Easy from a guitar-makers point of view, but designing and 3d-print all the jigs and templates (like for routing the pickup and neck pockets) will definitely cost me an extra couple of weeks.
