Die Zeitschrift "Beiträge zur Hochschulforschung" erscheint seit Ende Februar auf der über den #FID #Erziehungswissenschaft und #Bildungsforschung eingerichteten #OJS -Publikationsplattform 💪 .
Neben "Theo-Web - Zeitschrift für #Religionspädagogik " ist das jetzt schon die zweite Fachzeitschrift, die ihre Ausgaben über die Plattform "OpenJournals@Fachportal-Pädagogik" veröffentlicht.

Around 07:30 the phone rang (like it has the previous 3 days). I was kind of thinking of getting up anyway, so I got up, picked up the phone... Managed to catch the caller... I was not polite (I'm pretty straight forward with such callers much of the time, but at that time, I have no patience with them...)

There were probably about 10 phone calls total today (usually we get about 0 genuine phone calls most days...) We quite often get scammers, or "legitimate telemarketers" (ie. they actually have a reason to be calling us). Very rarely calls that we want to be receiving, which probably is fair.

It looks like Internet Archive is back up, not going to make an assumption on that, it's going to be staying up quite yet. Though it has been up relatively solidly when I've looked.

Now I really just want to get some sleep. I'm not really sure what's going on. I am happy to say the issues I was having with Mailman being "rude" and causing bounces and all that, I finally sorted. Not that difficult, but honestly I'd like to have some better documentation, as a lot of it was, "oh it's giving this error, how do I fix that..." Rather than what I'd hope would be possible, of, "this is what you do when this happens."

I guess a couple of things probably can be said to happen, 1 that broke things, the version of Python it was running under, got uninstalled. The other was you couldn't just do some minor fixes with it, but rather had to manually re-install it.

It wasn't a big deal, but frustrating, and I can see why people wouldn't want to handle it.

Off to bed I guess. I might want to figure out how to get back to the #BuJo or as I prefer it #OpenJournal (#OpJo?). I've left it for a bit.

One thing I'd like to get sorted is migrating to Sharkey. It looks "practically trivial" but looks often are deceiving.

Herausgeberinnen können sich mit einem Konzept für die Publikationsplattform #OpenJournal Systems bis zum 30. März 2024 bewerben.
