OpenSwitcher - Open source control software for BMD video switchers

Nerding out about obs preview and input delay, I swear this will be the last capture card video for a while proably most likely:

So You Want to Play on the OBS Preview

YouTube
I was watching a streamer on Friday trying to troubleshoot an issue wit that his streaming friend had with #OBS. The other streamer couldn't get audio capture to work properly with OBS. It kept capturing the audio from his microphone, but it wouldn't capture the audio from his game. The streamer tried updating programs and reinstalling drivers, too, but nothing worked. I wonder if this has been an issue in the past for people trying to stream with OBS on Windows. #OpenBroadcastStudio
@thepoliticalcat They still need money to operate the domains and servers, especially now that there are *millions* of users on some instances… Are they going to pay for that with hopes and dreams? Or are they going to generate income through advertising, donations and / or partnerships, as many other major #OpenSource projects do (#Blender , #OpenBroadcastStudio and #Firefox being notable examples)? Please familiarise yourself with reality… 🙄 🤦🏼

"Near the launch of SLOBS, [@]streamlabs reached out to us about using the OBS name. We kindly asked them not to. They did so anyway and followed up by filing a trademark"

"We’ve tried to sort this out in private and they have been uncooperative at every turn"

From the replies on Twitter, it looks like a lot of people didn't realize SLOBS wasn't just a better OBS. The unfortunate name confusion is real.
