"Squirrel"

I actually own a birding lense although I know nothing about birds. The ยต43s system is quite renowned for its light equipment for comparable huge reach. Its a crop sensor and I am quite sad that there are not many modern, small cameras in that format. I mostly bought this lens on a whim because I wanted to have something with reach and not spend thousands of euros on something I don't even know I like. This thing is a plastic fantastic and quite soft, I have problems seeing lens quality in other lenses, but this one is definitely "bad". On the other hand..its insanely cheap for what it does, you need bright sunshine to get anything with it, but then the result is quite okay. I haven't gone to any outings with it in the last few months..but as it happens, nature comes to me, like this and some other squirrels living the next tree over.

"Winter dawn"

The subject is a boring building, I see that. But I liked the light, naturally I boosted the blues and oranges in this picture to get the picture more precisely. Also with less exposure I feel more while looking at it, for reference, with more exposure everything seems much more plain..but you can see the people I guess.

@thomasfuchs For #onkyo devices the apps are called "Remote" and "Controller". The remote for #omsystems cameras is called "oi.share".
"Flowers, Spring I guess"

Some many many moons ago my grandmother got her first smartphone, I got the honour of setting the thing up. When I came back to it after a few months the memory was filled to the brim with random pictures of flowers, she apparently really liked those. I dont share that love, but when walking through some parks the urge to photograph some vegetation comes upon me. So this is the result..two nice pictures and two were I think there is more potential but I struggle to get it out.

Here's a lucky shot of swans in flight in London's Hyde Park. Had no time to set up the camera or even focus - luckily it was already at 100mm and I'd just shot a distant scene.

"Green hills"

Landscape isn't my forte. I am not living in the most pictoresque place to be honest, still, there is some beauty found in the little things. This picture is actually slightly blurry, not that I think its noticeable on these platforms, but this picture couldn't be printed because of that. I tried to push the sliders in #darktable quite a bit here, maybe to much to be honest, its not like I was aiming for a specific style, more that this more vivid than life felt kinda right, so here we are. Not the greatest art, not the greatest place..but a moment captured.

"Coming Winter"

I am a bit late to the party with this as winter has already come and partly passed. I took this one last autumn at my grandparents place..or rather, only my grandfather is left. The man is old but still looks the same as in the last 30 years of memory, and the place hasn't changed much either. I readily confess that this picture isn't all that picture to anyone but me. I live far away from my grandparents place now, I don't know how often I will visit, maybe the day I took this picture was the last time because this coming Winter was his last. Maybe there are 10 more years in it. I don't know. Thinking about that makes me sad, and that is the emotion carried by this badly stacked pile of firewood. The fear of a coming loss and the words that hasn't been said.

"Frost"

It wasnt actually that cold that day. For some already unknown reason I went out and about somewhat early in the morning and was waiting for the next tram to come, the light shone through the actual frosted glass and it felt like it was this blue. In reality I once again used post-processing to superimpose feelings in an otherwise more plain image. I define photography as that for myself, capturing the moment and then adding feelings to it without altering the actual pixel-array. Technical speaking. Its a fine rope dance to be honest. All that computational photographing stuff that goes on in phones and modern cameras makes it hard to draw the line, especially when you begin to use neural networks to remove stuff in the picture.
