I actually went out and about to make photos of consenting people for once, in short, I went to the Dokomi and took pictures of cosplayer. But editing that all so it looks consistent is work that isn't done yet..and its not really what I usually do. So this is a picture I took in early April. I spent good two hours of standing on the Stuttgart Schlossplatz to make "long exposure" shots with my cheap variable ND-Filter and a 150mm lense. There are sooo many duds in that gallery, there are some other okay ones but this one is the only one I will show. I really like this kind of shot, everything moves but something is still. The area I choose is woefully bad for this kind of photography. I also did a lot of tracking shots but those require skill, dexterity and a bit of luck. And maybe something shorter than a 75mm lense. Anyway, this is the picture I got, the vision is clear, the execution is shaky. I also don't like that there is a minor in this picture, if only in profile. I was going back and forth to publish this image for quite some time. Still unsure.

"Smoking rest"
In my endless quest of finding my own style I try something new every time, this time I made the picture a lot lighter than usual. I am not super sure about this one, I might come back to it actually. Things I am not so sure about are also smoking, the aesthetic is unquestionable cool, thanks to the last 50 years of pop culture, but the overall effect on society is something I see very critical. Anyway, this woman vapes which is soo different isn't it.

"Asymmetry"
On the first glance one would expect this place be symmetrical, but it just isnt, not all all. The wall on the left for sure, that's just how it is. But there are so many more things, the utility shaft hatch, the tiles, the lamp, random tiles not aligning. Its maddening. Its so far away from a laminar space as it could be but yet, in the first moment one would think it might be one (not really, the stairs are a pretty big tell no?). I actually came back to this place more than once and I am still not 100% happy with this shot, but I am not waiting for perfection. The lights on the ceiling look a bit like an exclamation mark by the way (:

This is a slight 3:2 crop of the actual picture, on that day I was actually waiting for a friend for a meet up and was wandering a bit around the area because I was waaaay to early. I only had the 14mm in my pocket and this is what I got. I cannot really say what in this picture as so great, but for some reasons I enjoy the colours.

"Not a duck"
'What is the world against the continuity of a duck', this in the picture is actually not a duck but its not really a goose either. I had to look it up, but its an Egyptian goose (Alopochen aegyptiaca) which is apparently in the duck family (like geese or swans) and is, according to wikipedia a half-goose..whatever that means. I took this picture today on a morning walk around a small lake here in Stuttgart. Said goose is apparently kind of an invasive species and not liked by everyone. They tend to be more on the aggressive site and currently they have little ones, so there is that. But I like the picture I got from this individual just chilling in the fields.

"Squirrel"
I actually own a birding lense although I know nothing about birds. The Β΅43s system is quite renowned for its light equipment for comparable huge reach. Its a crop sensor and I am quite sad that there are not many modern, small cameras in that format. I mostly bought this lens on a whim because I wanted to have something with reach and not spend thousands of euros on something I don't even know I like. This thing is a plastic fantastic and quite soft, I have problems seeing lens quality in other lenses, but this one is definitely "bad". On the other hand..its insanely cheap for what it does, you need bright sunshine to get anything with it, but then the result is quite okay. I haven't gone to any outings with it in the last few months..but as it happens, nature comes to me, like this and some other squirrels living the next tree over.
