This is Temple Station... from the #JamesBond film #Skyfall. It's really the old #JubileeLine terminus at #CharingCross, which was dressed up as Temple for the film.

I love this frame which visually embodies the concepts of "mujo" (無常) and "mono no aware" (物の哀れ).

"Mujo" is Buddhist concept of impermanence and "mono no aware" is finding beauty in life due to this impermanence.

I penned the following haiku in Japanese and English inspired by this frame.

花が咲く
いつも儚い
命かな

Cherry blossoms bloom
Always so ephemeral
Alas, such is life

A little late for peak cherry blossom season this year, but I rather like this shot I managed to get because it visually highlights in one frame the ephemeral and temporary nature of the cherry blossom.

Went into my garden today with the #OM1MarkII and the #OMSystem 100-400 mm f/5-6.3 beast to see how it would do when shooting the moon using the tripod high res mode at 80 megapixels.

It gives a lot of latitude for cropping without losing too much resolution. I was able to get this framing which at a 100 per cent would be at 3000 x 3000 pixels.

Picked up the OM 100-400 mm f/5-6.3 beast during the amazing 35 per cent off refurbished sale which #OMSystem did at the beginning of the year, and decided to see what it could do now that I finally have a clear night with a sliver of the waxing crescent moon.

And... wow! The 800 mm full frame equivalent reach is just... <3
